My 5 Favorite Promotions of the Week: John Mayer x Lisa Frank Sweatshirts, Random House Totes and More

This installment of the Fave 5 is a very special one because it’s the birthday installment. Why is it the birthday installment? Because my birthday is on Saturday, and I just wanted an excuse to let everyone know. Plus, these are all promotional products I would love to receive for my birthday, so I consider that excuse enough.

So, without further ado, here are all the promotional products that caught my attention this week.

1. John Mayer x Lisa Frank Sweatshirts

If you had the fortune of knowing me from the age of 12 to 18, you probably know that I have a bit of a John Mayer obsession. Well, my adoration for the musician was only further cemented this week when he unveiled his limited edition sweatshirt collection with Lisa Frank. Seriously, I need one.

2. Random House Tote Bags

Apparently, I’m just going to use this Fave 5 as an excuse to talk about myself, so I apologize in advance. I’m not sure if it’s a characteristic exclusive to writers, but I can’t get enough tote bags. I think there are about 20 hanging in my closet, and those are just the ones that made it out of my moving boxes. And yet, I’m always on the hunt for a new one.

The Random House canvas tote bag especially caught my eye, because I am a sucker for that exact shade of blue. But that leather look is sleek as well.

3. Reading Fightins’ Rhys Hoskins Home Run Tracker Bobbleheads

I love a creative bobblehead and I love Rhys Hoskins, so it should be no surprise that this fan giveaway made the list. The only thing I’m mad about is that I can’t get one myself all the way out in Los Angeles.

4. Mitski Frame Fundraiser

If you haven’t gotten on the Mitski train yet, there is no time like the present. Not only is her music amazing, but this promotional product idea that benefits the Futures Without Violence nonprofit is awesome.

5. Beat the Blerch 5K T-shirts

I know nothing about this 5K, and yet, I want the T-shirt. If that’s not the marker of a successful promotional tee, then I don’t know what is. Also, I support any 5K with couches and cake.
